History

Main Street Plaza

127 Main Street North (0.14 ac.) was donated to the City, by Tim and Debbie Rud, on December 29, 2011.  The Main Street Plaza was constructed and dedicated in 2014.  The plaza was designed by Laura Carpentier and the Lonsdale Park Board and constructed by Common Grounds Lawn & Landscape.

Veterans Memorial

133 Main Street North (0.08 ac.) was acquired by the City on June 26, 2014.  The home/old business (previous bank) at 133 Main Street North was demolished in August 2014.  Lonsdale Veterans Memorial was constructed and dedicated in July 2015.  The site was designed by City/Parks Planner Ben Baker along with the Veterans Memorial Task Force.
