Lonsdale Area Good Neighbor Recycling Team Program

Attention Area Non-Profit/Service Organizations -

Is your group…

·         Searching for ways to raise money?

·         Looking to serve your community?

·         Concerned about the environment?

If so, your organization should apply to become the next “Good Neighbor Recycling Team”.  The recycling program is designed to involve groups in educating residents about the benefits of mixed paper recycling, increase residential recycling participation, and support area non-profit/service groups and organizations.

As a result for helping to promote mixed paper recycling in the Lonsdale Area, your group will receive $15/ton for all the paper collected while you are the designated Good Neighbor Recycling Team.

Groups are Responsible for:

·         Monitoring and maintaining the collection boxes located at Mackenthun's Fine Foods.

·         Inform the community about recycling

·         Being creative in promoting recycling

The Lonsdale Park & Recreation Board is now accepting applications for the Good Neighbor Recycling Program.  Application forms are available at Lonsdale City Hall, 415 Central Street West, or click on the Application Link (on on this page).
